Gold Coast Radiology has introduced an innovative patient portal card. Every patient who attends Gold Coast Radiology will receive their individualised patient portal card.
The patient portal card will allow the patient to "carry" their diagnostic imaging in their pocket, rather than in a traditional film packet. The patient has more control over who and when somebody can view their diagnostic imaging.
For instance if the patient is travelling abroad, they can present their patient portal card to the attending doctor, and their doctor is able to view and access the patients previous diagnostic imaging.
There is no need to carry bags of x-rays on film with you to your medical appointments, simply put the Gold Coast Radiology Patient Portal Card in your pocket, and you have all your x-rays with you all the time, anywhere you may be.
The doctor or specialist that you go and see can use the Patient Portal to access your diagnostic imaging and reports.
